The M7 Bayonet/Fighting Knife Letter Opener Display Displays are crafted using solid American Hardwood and finished to a fine furniture grade appearance. You will be proud to display these Fighting Knife Letter Openers, and happy to use them for their intended purpose. The M7 Bayonet/Fighting Knife was introduced in 1964, the M7 Bayonet was standard issue for the M16 family of rifles during the Vietnam War. Its 6 Ύ blade, combined with its checkered non-slip grip and overall black finish, allowed the bayonet to double as an effective fighting knife.
This M7 Letter Opener features a blackened steel blade, a checkered Grip, and authentic detail. .
Each Hardwood Display includes two standard Navy Emblems as pictured. For a small additional price we can mount custom emblems of your choice, of military units, wings, weapons, rank insignia, vehicles, ships, aircraft, etc. (Please call for availability)
An engraved brass plate, mounted between the two emblems, is available.
