Gift Giving for the Soldier

There are many ways in which you can reward your troops as an officer or reward hard work after a long and trying inspection on base. You can offer Marines a variety of gifts but one of the most inspiring is a display unit for their sword. If they have one sword or two swords to display you can congratulate them with unique cases and stands. The same type of gift can be given at retirement parties for those who will no longer need to hang on to their swords or for those who are cross training into another field or another branch of the military.

For recipients who will be displaying two swords, you can give the display that crosses the swords in the middle with each end and point facing the opposite direction in the air. Case with handles mounted to the bottom and a large base, adequate enough to hold the display unit on an office desk or at home in a new trophy room is a popular choice too. You can also award your troops with a layered sword display case that can be engraved at the base with information pertaining to the occasion that will stand alone either at home or in the office.

The layered sword display case displays swords in a tiered fashion equidistant from one another. Consider gifting your troops or retirees with a wall mount on which to display their swords in the same tiered and equidistant fashion. The wall mount can be placed above a mantel or above a window in the office for display. If these do not appeal to you there are three dimensional boxes in which swords can be displayed or engraved plaques through which the swords are placed in the creation of an “X”. Each display gives a soldier's sword the respect it deserves and that gift is priceless.
