These beautiful genuine hardwood sword display cases will allow you to display your Officer sword, NCO Sword, or Navy Cutlass behind an opening glass door. They are constructed of genuine Appalachian Black Walnut or Northeastern American Cherry, and feature a custom molded hinged, door also made of hardwood. The hardwood is carefully selected and milled, the corners are exactingly mitered, and hardwood splines are used to add strength to the corners. The molding for the door is milled from genuine hardwood, the glass is installed into rabbited grooves, and a high quality magnetic latch is used for the closure. The Sword and Scabbard supports are crafted from genuine hardwood and attached to the back of the case. They are then carefully finished to perfection with lacquer and furniture wax.
